IIDA Mid-America is excited to bring back Wellness Wednesdays.

Our last Wellness Wednesdays will feature a Calligraphy class. We'll have some snacks and beverages and take the Brush Lettering 101 Course with Lauren Heim. The cost includes supplies that will be yours to keep! You now have the option to attend in-person or virtually! If attending in-person, please come as early as 5:15pm to mingle beforehand, class will start promptly at 5:45pm. We will be wrapped up by 7:00pm. If attending virtually, you will need to pick up your kit from the Mohawk-Durkan Showroom prior to the class and you will be sent a link for viewing the day of.
This will be an evening of self-care and creativity while we learn the basics of Brush Lettering. Similar to calligraphy, Brush Lettering is all about pressure to create thin and thick strokes. Despite what you might think you don't need nice handwriting and anyone can learn! During this workshop, you will learn about supplies, basic strokes, lowercase alphabet and how to connect letters to make words.
