IIDA Mid America Maker Mart 2016 | Furndraiser benefiting Kansas City's Rightfully Sewn

Event Summary:
This is our first year creating a Maker Mart for local Kansas City Makers to display and sell products or services during the busy Holiday Season. There will be snacks, a DJ and beer provided to attract those out shopping for loved ones. This event's proceeds will go to our selected charity, Rightfully Sewn, a local Kansas City charity providing seamstress training for at-risk women, and cultivating local fashion designers by giving them access to state-of-the-art technologies and staffing.
Requirements:
Locally made goods or services to present at the Mart
Fee: $40
Optional: Donate a percentage of your profit to Rightfully Sewn or an Item of your choice for our event raffle.
Sales:
Each artist is responsible for collecting tender from patrons and paying Missouri sales tax.
Booths:
Each Maker will receive a table 18” x72” to display their materials.
