Nearly complete, this $160 million project will replace the current terminal and add additional passenger capacity while reducing operations and maintenance costs. The design team for the new airport consists of nearly 20 firms of a variety of specialties, including local Wichita design firms GLMV Architecture, Professional Engineering Consultants and Dudley Williams Associates. Aviation history exhibits and public art coordination was by Greteman Group and the landscape design by Landworks Studio. The new aiport is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2015.
