Please join the Mid America chapter of IIDA and fellow sophomore, junior and senior interior design students for the first annual student award design charette, “Design Wars.”
“Design Wars” will challenge student teams to come up with a creative design for an existing interior space in downtown Kansas City. Each team will have 2 hours to complete a floor plan, provide finish selections, put together a presentation and then pitch their concept to a panel of prominent industry leaders. The panel will select one team to win the $2,000.00 Mid America student award.
Not a student? Not a problem! All IIDA members are welcome to come and support the next generation of interior designers as they compete in a team design charrette to win the $2,000.00 Mid America student award. The design charrette kicks off at 1:00pm with the student team presentations starting at 3:30pm and the winning team will be announced at 5:00pm.

Note: This event is open to sophomore, junior and senior interior design students currently enrolled in an interior design degree program at the university level. Students are not required to be an IIDA student member to register for this event. Space is limited and registration starts September 6th!
